Bridge Over Water
Tucked away in Pattaya, Bridge Over Water is a casual dining establishment that draws visitors looking for a quieter alternative to the city's busy street food scene. The venue offers a mix of Thai and Indian dishes, making it a practical stop for travellers with varied tastes or those craving something beyond local fare. The open-air seating area is a highlight for many visitors, offering a cool breeze and a relaxed ambiance backed by lounge music. The setting lends itself well to an unhurried meal or a drink, and the staff are generally noted for being friendly and attentive. Food quality receives mixed responses — some dishes such as soups and snacks are considered decent, while others have drawn less enthusiasm, so expectations are best kept measured rather than high. Bridge Over Water is open every day from 11:00 until midnight, making it a convenient option for both lunch and late-evening visits. It is worth noting that there is no website available for advance menu browsing or reservations, so visiting in person is the most reliable approach. The address on Soi Chaiyaphon Withi 16 places it slightly off the main tourist drag, which contributes to its calmer atmosphere but may require using a map application or asking locals for directions.

Visitor Reviews
The service is good. I like sitting in their open area with cool breeze but I did not like the food very much. I had French fried and mushroom soup which was ok. I had some salad and noodle but it was too salty, not good at all.
Friendly and service minded staff, nice lounge music and delicious food. Good place to go for a snack or a beer if you want a break from the street food.
Nice Restaurant and very well priced. Good Indian and Thai food options available

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
