Waterfall
Tucked away along an unnamed road in the Nong Thale area of Mueang Krabi District, this waterfall offers a quiet natural retreat within reach of Krabi town. Rather than dramatic cascades, visitors find gentle streams of water that trickle down the rock face in a way that one reviewer described as resembling "a pleasant summer rain" — modest in scale, but peaceful in character. The surrounding landscape and views further up the hillside are noted as highlights in their own right, making the journey as rewarding as the destination for those willing to climb. Expectations are worth managing before making the trip. The waterfall is small, and water flow can be limited depending on the season. That said, the pool at the base offers a refreshing spot to cool down after the uphill walk, and the natural setting is genuinely attractive. It suits travellers who enjoy a low-key nature walk rather than those seeking a dramatic or high-energy attraction. A practical note: visitor numbers can build up considerably during the day, which affects both the ambience and water clarity. Arriving early in the morning is strongly recommended for a quieter experience and cleaner water. There is no website or confirmed opening hours available, so it is worth checking locally before visiting. Comfortable walking shoes are advisable given the climb involved.

Visitor Reviews
The waterfall is small, of course, but it's not its fault that it's like that) it's beautiful, but I don't think there's any point in going for it, unless it's for the views that are further up the mountain
Very beautiful!
There aren't any rushing streams of water here, as one might imagine when hearing the word "waterfall." Instead, there are streams like a pleasant summer rain. It's perfect for a dip after a hot climb through the jungle. The surrounding greenery is beautiful, with mosses and drops of water. And if you go around the rock to the right, there's another waterfall with a stronger flow.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
