Visitor Reviews

We had an amazing experience with Samui Ocean Sports! The staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming, and the whole crew was truly professional. Kunta, the owner, is very experienced in sailing around Samui. He explained everything clearly and made sure we understood all the details before we decided to go on the trip. His knowledge and professionalism made us feel completely safe and confident. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun, safe, and unforgettable adventure on the water in Samui! 🌊⛵✨

I had such an incredible day out on the boat — the crew was super friendly, welcoming, and made me feel completely safe the entire time. We stopped at a stunning, quiet beach far away from all the tourist spots, with crystal-clear water and beautiful viewpoints all around. There was snorkel gear and even a SUP on board, which made the experience even better. And the sunset… absolutely breathtaking. I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. Highly recommend!

I rented the 30ft sanora a few weeks ago for a leisurely sail around the samui islands. I had a splendid time. The boat was comfortable and well stocked with drinks, snacks and fruit. The boat was easy to rig and great to handle. And the crew Sun and Reef were excellent, friendly and very knowledgable about the waters, beaches and winds. I highly recommend it.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
