Sangha Yoga
Nestled in the Bophut area of Koh Samui, Sangha Yoga is a dedicated yoga studio and fitness space that draws both holidaymakers and local practitioners looking for a grounded, professional practice environment. The studio offers a wide variety of classes — including Dynamic Flow — and is consistently praised for its thoughtful setup and the quality of its instruction. The atmosphere at Sangha is frequently described by visitors as warm, welcoming, and calm from the moment you arrive. Lead instructor Sarah is highlighted across reviews for her ability to teach to individual skill levels even within a group class setting, making the studio genuinely accessible whether someone is stepping onto a mat for the first time or deepening an existing practice. The overall sense is of a carefully run studio where both the physical space and the teaching approach reflect real professionalism. For practical planning, Sangha is well suited to travellers who want to incorporate yoga into their holiday without committing to a retreat format — drop-in classes appear to be available, making it easy to fit sessions around other plans. As opening hours are not listed online, it is worth reaching out in advance to confirm the current class schedule before visiting, particularly during peak tourist season when popular sessions may fill quickly.

I cannot recommend Sangha studio enough! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and a sense of calm that sets the perfect tone for practice. All the instructors are truly incredible, knowledgeable, supportive, welcoming and kind. The studio itself is a sanctuary clean and filled with a peaceful energy. Each class is thoughtfully guided and left me rejuvenated and empowered. All the classes I’ve had here from breath work to sound healing, yoga and movement they have been all amazing. They also have a cute little shop at the back! If you’re searching for a truly special yoga community, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it! 🫶
I highly recommend Sangha if you’re looking for a yoga studio in Samui. The atmosphere is so welcoming and open, it’s truly a lovely place to visit. They have a wide variety of classes and cater to all abilities. Sarah, the owner, is an incredible teacher, I love her dynamic flow classes. The studio itself is clean and modern. They provide everything you need including props and towels. The yoga mats here are some of the best I’ve ever used from a studio before - you can really tell the thought and care that has gone into this studio. Definitely visit Sangha and try one of the classes for yourself!
I absolutely love this studio & the teachers. Sarah is warm and welcoming, she is a phenomenal teacher and will put anyone at ease, whether it’s your first time ever doing yoga or your 10th year. The studio itself is beautiful & great care has been taken to create this space, it has a magical view over the hills and there is ample parking space. I would definitely recommend you go check it out!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
