Why go, and how to do it well
Self-catering on Samui means a run to this place sooner or later. It's the island's main hypermarket, so you get fresh produce, packaged groceries, household bits, clothes and electronics in one go, and the TV prices in particular are worth a look if you're furnishing something. Since the refurbishment it's cleaner and better laid out, though a couple of quirks survived. The bakery sits a long walk from the bread, which is a nuisance if you want a loaf sliced. Stock gaps happen too. If you rely on one-liter UHT milk cartons, don't count on finding them.
The food court is the part I'd actually go out of my way for. Curries and grilled chicken for not much money, plus a KFC if someone in your group wants familiar. It runs on a prepaid e-card, so load credit before you line up at the stalls or you'll be sent back. Evenings and weekends fill up with island residents. Weekday mornings are the calm slot.

getting better after refurbishment, i had stop to go ... passed by case to wash the car down in the parking and just went up to browse it... better shopping experience now. even tho product choice need to be imrpoved.
