Thai Garden Design
Thai Garden Design is a professional landscaping and garden construction service operating in the Hua Hin area, specialising in transforming residential outdoor spaces into functional, attractive environments. The team works with villa and home owners to design and build gardens tailored to individual needs, whether that means low-maintenance coastal plantings, sun decks, irrigation systems, or feature gardens suited to the local climate. Visitors and residents who have engaged the service report a thorough process from initial design consultation through to completion, with the team noted for attention to detail, clean workmanship, and responsiveness via chat throughout the project. Past projects have included fully automatic irrigation installations, putting greens, and coastal garden designs built to withstand the sea air environment common around Hua Hin. For those considering using Thai Garden Design, reaching out directly through available contact channels is the recommended first step, as the service appears to operate on a project-by-project basis rather than through a fixed premises or showroom. Prospective clients are advised to contact the team early in their planning process, as design proposals and scheduling will need to be arranged in advance. This service is best suited to property owners in the Hua Hin region looking for a reliable local contractor to handle landscaping from concept through to handover.

Visitor Reviews
Incredible!! We bought our house about 1.5 years ago and the whole landscaping was very minimalist. We thought it would be nice for our dog, but actually she was bored in the yard. So we contacted Thai Garden Design to make our yard more tropical. We told them that we didn’t know what we liked and to just make us a layout. They gave us a full layout for the whole yard with all the different types of plants named and pictured. We thought we were easy, but we didn’t like some of the plant colors and types they suggested. When we told them what we didn’t like they said no problem and changed them out until we got to everything we liked. Also we decided we wanted to build a pergola type structure with a deck on top that we could see the mountains in the distance. Another area we decided we wanted to build a pond/stream area our dog could lay when she got back from a hot walk. They said no problem for all of this. Once we got to the actual plants and trees being brought in we were able to decide what we wanted to keep and what we didn’t want. At one point they planted a couple palms that we didn’t like their location and they just dug them out and took them back and didn’t charge us. We found out we don’t like bush type things and there is none of that in our yard. They moved a whole tree we didn’t want to a friends yard free of charge. Planting it in the friends yard for us. Throughout the whole thing we were able to change anything we wanted or add things and they were always happy to do it. The Thai workers were great, communicated well. Always let Ben & Tia know if we wanted to change something to make sure they understood correctly. Tia oversaw all the design elements, telling them exactly where and how to plant. We are just really impressed and so happy with the result. Maybe not the cheapest, but for something I will see everyday for the next 10+ years it was worry every baht and more. We literally look outside every day and think how incredible, it looks like magazine pictures!!
Contacted Ben at Thai Garden Design with a request for a landscape design to enhance our newly built villa in Hua Hin. He proposed a design and his crew went to work with an exceptional eye for detail. Finished the job in the timeframe needed and we couldn't be more happy with the results. I would highly recommend Ben and his team for any landscaping projects you may have.
From the beginning of the process, to the end, they made it all easy and smooth. Accommodating requests for delivery timings, being accessible on chat and promptly responding to all queries, plants all beautiful and perfect, so happy and grateful ! I found them to be reasonable yet with more variety than I found anywhere else online. Would happily order from them again !

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
