Shakti Yoga
Nestled in the Nong Kae area of Hua Hin, Shakti Yoga is a dedicated yoga studio and fitness space that draws both resident expats and visiting travellers looking to maintain or deepen their practice. The studio offers a range of class styles and levels, making it accessible to beginners while still engaging for more experienced practitioners. Instructor Yod is frequently highlighted by visitors for his skill, approachability, and ability to adapt sessions to different abilities. The studio is well-equipped with quality gear, and the class schedule is noted by regular visitors as consistent and reliable. The atmosphere leans informal and social, with instructors known for their sense of humour — something most guests appreciate, though those seeking a more meditative or strictly disciplined environment may want to keep this in mind before booking. Practically speaking, prospective visitors are advised to check the current schedule in advance and reach out via LINE to confirm class times and availability, as opening hours are not widely published online. The studio is located along the Nong Kae-Takiap road, placing it within reasonable reach of the southern end of Hua Hin, including the Khao Takiap area. Drop-in visitors are generally welcomed, but confirming ahead of arrival is a sensible step, particularly during busier holiday periods.

Visitor Reviews
I have travelled extensively around Asia and Indonesia and visited many yoga studios along the way, but this is by far the best yoga studio I have ever experienced. The schedule is regular and reliable, and the teachers are truly exceptional. A special mention goes to Kru Yod, who has clearly dedicated his life to this place — his passion, energy, and care for every student make the studio what it is today. During the busy season (December- March), the morning classes get crowded and they are full of life, with practitioners from all over the world. And it’s no surprise — people keep coming back year after year. I know I have, for the past five years. This studio is built on a genuine love for yoga, and it has created something very special: a warm, international community of people who share the same intention and spirit. You meet people from all corners of the world and for many it always feels like coming home. This place holds a very special place in my heart, and it always will. And of course, Kru Yod’s great sense of humour makes every practice even more joyful. If you are in Hua Hin and love yoga, this is not just a studio — it’s an experience and a community you’ll want to return to again and again.
Highly recommended! Came here almost everyday of my stay in Hua Hin to practice . The male instructor Yod is an experienced and fantastic instructor that caters to all levels. I enjoyed his classes thoroughly, his light-hearted persona and the adjustments and assist provided to deepen your practice. The space is clean and beautiful. Classes are conducted in both Thai and English so don’t worry if you’re not Thai. Mats and props are provided as well.
A great yoga studio. Very skilled and lovely instructors with great sense of humour. Diverse practices and levels. The equipment is very good and complete. One of the best yoga studios I have been in Thailand!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
