Timing is everything here. Come in January, when the flower festival takes over the grounds, and you get free entry, beds of color in every shade, sculptures to wander past, an artificial waterfall, live music and small stalls selling local food and fruit at prices that won't sting. Reviewers who came for it went back a second time. The paths are paved and flat, there's a small play area for kids, and the water alongside makes the loop pleasant rather than a slog.
Turn up in, say, June and you'll find something much quieter. One visitor called it barely a park at all, and I understand the complaint. The space is small, the buildings around it are big, and outside festival season it functions as a meeting place and occasional concert venue more than a green retreat. The trees are the redeeming bit, with characterful roots and growth spilling over the stone walls. Treat it as fifteen minutes during a wider day in the city center, not the reason you came.

We found the park here to be wonderful, it was by the water and the layout of the flowers were perfect. Stunning flowers of all shades and shapes! Small shops of everything. Yummy good food and very good price! Music in this beautiful surrounding. Nice artificial waterfall. Food and fruits are highly reccommended. Just loved it
I was looking forward to relax in a nice, quiet city park. But this park appears abandoned and has too many big buildings for its small space. Maybe it's better during flower festival, but right now it's not even a park.
