The bathtub sits in the middle of the room. That single design choice gets mentioned more than almost anything else here, and it tells you what kind of place this is: couples, honeymooners, people who want the room itself to be part of the holiday. Rooms are large, modern and quiet, with balconies big enough to actually use, and the infinity pool looks straight across to Koh Phangan.
It sits on Bo Phut beach, on the main street of Fisherman's Village, which sounds noisy and apparently isn't. You can walk to dinner and be back in five minutes. Chaweng and Lamai are a taxi ride away, which is the point for most people who book here. Guests are consistently warm about the staff, including one couple who left something behind and had it couriered to them on another island. Breakfast is good rather than enormous. Food and cocktails get praised properly, not politely.
One small gripe worth knowing: the bathrooms are short on hooks for towels and robes, and at least one guest had to ask for a shower curtain to be fitted.

The Hansar Samui was a great place to be. The rooms are nice, clean and modern with a lot of space. The Service is great too. Everyone was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good to. It was not The Biggest breakfast selection we had in thailand but you can easily find food that fits your taste. The pool is insane. The biggest Infinitiv Pool i ever saw. And an Amazing view to Koh Pangan. The hotel is on the main streat of the fishermans village, but even with this location quiet. Only one hotel closer you will hear the difference. If you like a more crouded place, the choice of many Restaurants on the street, but still a place to relax, hansar is the hotel for you!
Hansar Samui truly delivers an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, right on the beach with stunning sea views and easy access to Fisherman’s Village. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and feel calm and luxurious. Service is outstanding, the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about every detail. The breakfast is excellent with great variety and quality, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing without feeling crowded. A perfect choice for couples looking for comfort, style, and a memorable stay in Koh Samui.
Could not have had a better stay at the hotel. The staff are so attentive and helpful, the room was absolutely incredible (even got a free upgrade), the food was delicious and the cocktails very well made. The pool areas was super nice and we always managed to find space. Same about the beach. Overall great experience, cannot wait to visit again!
