Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa

4.7(130 reviews)

Tucked between the mountains and central Chiang Mai in the Chang Phueak area, this boutique resort and spa draws guests seeking a calm, restorative escape without straying far from the city's main attractions. The small-scale property leans into its intimate character, with a team consistently praised by visitors for attentive, personalized service that larger resorts rarely match. The grounds offer a noticeably peaceful atmosphere, and the overall experience skews more quiet retreat than busy resort. Guests can expect a relaxing, unhurried stay with spa and wellness facilities central to the offering. Reviewers frequently highlight the warmth and helpfulness of the staff as a standout feature, and the property's setting strikes a balance between seclusion and accessibility. Breakfast has been noted as part of certain booking packages, so it is worth checking what inclusions apply at the time of reservation. That said, some guests have raised concerns about the physical condition of rooms relative to the price point, suggesting expectations should be calibrated accordingly. Good to know: Rates can reach premium levels, particularly during Chiang Mai's peak season from November to February, when the weather is at its most pleasant and demand for accommodation is highest. Prospective guests are advised to review room options carefully and contact the property directly to confirm current pricing, spa availability, and any included amenities before booking, as detailed information is not consistently available through third-party platforms.

Visitor Reviews

Outstanding resort with an amazing staff who are extremely accommodating. Property is beautiful and with a very calming and relaxing vibe. Recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

Sireeampan Boutique Resort was a wonderful choice and a stay we truly appreciated. This was a recommendation we took a chance on—and it paid off. The small team delivers remarkably attentive, personal service that makes you feel genuinely cared for rather than processed. They arranged outings for us, booked reservations, handled logistics seamlessly, and somehow managed to anticipate needs before we voiced them. We felt thoroughly spoiled in the best way. The resort itself is beautifully designed in traditional Lanna style, with a calm, elegant layout that invites you to slow down. The atmosphere is quiet and restorative—this is very much a place to relax, read, and unwind, not a party destination, which suited us perfectly. The location is peaceful and just outside the city center, so it isn’t walkable to major attractions or restaurants. For us, that was part of the appeal, and the staff made transportation and planning effortless. If you’re looking for a serene, thoughtfully run boutique resort where service feels personal and unhurried, Sireeampan is a special place. We would happily return.

I almost didn’t go out to explore the city because I was having such a good time at this ADORABLE hotel. Disclaimer is I bought this weekend stay with capital one points so I got breakfast included (unlike what the other reviewer said I did not have to preorder or tell them a time. I just woke up and walked down to a table by the koi pond and ordered from a menu. The bfast came with a basket of breads, parfait, coffee, juice, fruits and unlimited mains). I soaked in the bath, used the steam room and sauna all of which were wonderful and relaxing. The bed was comfy. The minibar had free snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks. They drove me to the airport for free. There was always someone available ready to help with whatever I might need. The location was a 20 min grab from the furthest side of old town and a 6 min grab from the maya shopping center which is a pickup point for some of the excursions on GetYourGuide. So it was close enough to experience the city and secluded enough that you get to relax in a resort. I didn’t take advantage of the free massage but they mentioned it at check in.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
