Horizon Rooftop Restaurant and Bar
Perched on the 34th floor of the Hilton Pattaya, Horizon Rooftop Restaurant and Bar offers sweeping views across the city and coastline from an open-air setting that works equally well as a dining destination or a standalone bar. The atmosphere leans relaxed but polished, with comfortable seating, blue accent lighting, and a DJ adding energy to the later hours of the evening. The food and drinks both draw consistent praise from visitors. The garlic parmesan bread is a frequently mentioned highlight on the food side, while the cocktail program holds its own as a reason to visit independently of the menu. Pricing sits at the upscale end for Pattaya, though most visitors consider it fair given the setting, service quality, and overall experience. Horizon opens daily at 16:00 and stays open until 01:00. Arriving around an hour before sunset is widely recommended, as it aligns with the happy hour buy-one-get-one drinks offer and positions guests well to watch the city and coastline shift from daylight into night. Smart casual dress is appropriate for the setting. Reservations are strongly advised, particularly on weekends, as hotel guests tend to be given priority on the more desirable tables and walk-in availability can be limited.

Visitor Reviews
5-stars given for drinks; I have not eaten any food here. The best time to come up to the roof-top is during happy hour specials (Buy one drink, get a second one free) about 1 hour before sunset. Drinks are about 450 baht, so bring a 1000 baht note. No reservation is needed until later in the night. This is a popular spot for instagtam models and tourists to take selfies and pictures during the sunset. Reaching the rooftop is challenging: Entering the mall from the boardwalk/street, take the mall elevator to the sixth floor and head inside the mall, following signs on the south side for the Hilton hotel (The Hilton hotel is above the indoor mall). The hotel entrance is a side alley on the 6th floor with elegant signs. Heading up the winding hallways, you reach elevators from the 7th floor to the 17th floor. Take that up to the 17th floor and head out following signs to the nearby restrooms. The next set of elevator runs from floor 17 to 35, but the top floor doesn't require a hotel key! Take these elevators to the 35th floor. Be mindful the floor drops 1-inch downwards about 6-inches from the safety railing on all sides! It's marked with yellow/black caution-tape, but you'll stumble into the railing squeezing around chairs!
The dinner was excellent from start to finish, with delicious food, great drinks, a beautiful view and outstanding service. The garlic parmesan bread starter was perfectly seasoned and freshly baked, a really tasty way to begin the meal. The main course, Spaghetti Carbonara, was rich, creamy and cooked to perfection, and it paired wonderfully with a crisp Pinot Grigio white wine. The evening was rounded off with a Tres Leches cake that was light, moist and full of sweet flavor, together with a well-made cappuccino for a perfect finish. The restaurant offers a lovely view that made the whole experience feel special and created a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional throughout the night, which made the service feel truly exceptional and turned it into a memorable evening.
Really great atmosphere and awesome design for a rooftop bar. The restaurant is amazing. Food and drinks are also reasonable. Terrific views at night and day. DJ played great music also. Highly recommended to visit while in pattaya.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
