Drift
Perched on Level 16 of the Hilton Pattaya, Drift offers an elevated dining and drinks experience that combines five-star hotel standards with an open-air rooftop setting. The height delivers unobstructed views across Pattaya's coastline and cityscape, making it a particularly compelling spot as the sun sets and the city lights begin to emerge. Visitors have noted the natural cool breeze at this level adds to the comfort of the experience, even on warm Thai evenings.
The venue functions as more than a restaurant — Google place data confirms it operates as a cocktail bar, cafe, and tea house as well, giving it a broad appeal throughout the day. Afternoon tea draws guests seeking something refined without committing to a full meal, while the bar and dining menu cater to those staying longer into the evening. Expect professional, attentive service consistent with Hilton hospitality, a well-presented menu, and a polished atmosphere that feels a step above the typical rooftop bar.
Drift is open every day from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, which means it suits breakfast through to dinner but closes relatively early by Pattaya nightlife standards — those hoping for a late-night drinks session should plan accordingly. The venue is accessible to non-hotel guests, making it worth seeking out for visitors staying elsewhere in the area. For special occasions or firework events, pre-booking or arriving early is advisable, as seating with the best views tends to fill quickly.

Reviews from Google
Amazing view, great service and comfortable atmosphere. Unlike other rooftop bars, I could enjoy 5 star hotel services. Thanks.
5⭐️ I can’t say anything negative about Drift. The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant is beautiful. The view is insane. Even the restrooms are nice as hell 🤣. I got a Caesar salad with prawns. My husband got an omelette. It’s wasn’t super hot, it’s wasn’t loud, it was a very nice lunch. I highly recommend Drift to anyone looking for a nice place to relax and eat.
We loved the ambience — especially the sunset view. The golden shades transitioning into the colourful city lights were beautiful. Since it’s located on a higher level, the cool breeze made the experience even better. The whole place feels premium, and even the building’s powder room is surprisingly fancy. The staff were good and attentive. The food was okay — not great, but not bad either. We only tried a few drinks and desserts, so we can’t comment much on the rest of the menu. Overall, it’s a lovely spot mainly for the vibes and views

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
