Heaven Burger
Situated on Jetyod Road near central Chiang Rai, this spacious and attractively designed restaurant has built a loyal following among both locals and international travellers seeking a reliable sit-down meal beyond the city's street food scene. The menu centres on burgers with genuine range — the herb-spiced Aussie beef burger is a recurring favourite, while the plant-based patty has drawn particular praise from vegetarian visitors, with some describing it as among the finest they have encountered anywhere. Creative drinks, including a coconut mango shake made with yoghurt, complement the food alongside coffee and café-style options. The interior is roomy and relaxed, with 90s English music setting a low-key atmosphere. Staff are attentive and English-speaking, making the experience straightforward for international visitors. Pricing sits at a mid-range level — a noticeable step up from street food but reasonable for the quality and setting. It is worth noting that a small number of reviewers have found the meat patties inconsistent, so asking staff for their current recommendation when ordering is a practical approach. Open seven days a week from 11:00 AM, with last orders at 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 9:00 PM on Sundays. Visiting during the mid-afternoon lull between lunch and dinner service is a good way to avoid the busiest periods. The Facebook page listed on the directory is the most reliable place to check for any menu updates or hour changes before heading over.

Visitor Reviews
A large, spacious place with beautiful design. 90s English music playing in the background. Friendly staff providing excellent service who speak perfect English. I asked for the recommended dish and got a suggestion for a burger, which I went with. I received a huge burger packed with all the good stuff. Paired with perfectly spiced fries that paired great with the Chang beer I drank from the frosted glass they served it in. My girlfriend ordered the spaghetti bolognese, which arrived beautifully presented. She said it was missing something, but I was too busy enjoying my excellent burger 😀 Bottom line: highly, highly recommended, especially for anyone wanting a break from Thai food.
Great burgers with large menu selection of burgers and drinks. The Aussie burger and fries was very tasty beef patty has some spices and herbs inside which makes it taste great. The smoothie had yoghurt and milk and was very filling on it's own. Great position to sit and eat and people watch as it's a busy corner. Plenty of seating inside and out. You won't be disappointed if you like burgers they are huge and very worth the price. Must try if you are in Chiang Rai city not far from clock tower.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I always eat at Heaven Burger in Chiang Rai, and the food is consistently delicious. But what truly makes every visit special is the waiter, Feeno 🩵. He is always amazingly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about his customers. Such a bright and friendly person who welcomes us with warmth and a big smile every time. His service makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
