Heaven Burger
Heaven Burger has carved out a loyal following among both Chiang Rai residents and passing travellers, serving up a broad menu of burgers in a spacious, attractively designed dining room on Jetyod Road near the city centre. The restaurant stands out not only for its beef options — such as the herb-spiced Aussie burger — but also for its plant-based patties, which have drawn particular praise from vegetarian visitors. Creative shakes and smoothies, including coconut mango blends made with yoghurt, round out the menu alongside coffee and cafe-style drinks. The interior is roomy and well-designed, with a relaxed atmosphere complemented by 90s English music. Staff are notably attentive and English-speaking, making it an easy and comfortable stop for international travellers. Pricing sits at the mid-range level, offering a solid step up from street food without a significant hit to the budget. While most reviews are enthusiastic, a small number of visitors have noted inconsistency with the meat patties, so it may be worth asking staff for recommendations when ordering. Good to know: Heaven Burger is open seven days a week, running from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday and until 9:00 PM on Sundays. Checking their Facebook page before visiting is a practical way to confirm current hours or browse the menu. Arriving during the mid-afternoon lull can help avoid the busier lunch and dinner rushes.

Visitor Reviews
A large, spacious place with beautiful design. 90s English music playing in the background. Friendly staff providing excellent service who speak perfect English. I asked for the recommended dish and got a suggestion for a burger, which I went with. I received a huge burger packed with all the good stuff. Paired with perfectly spiced fries that paired great with the Chang beer I drank from the frosted glass they served it in. My girlfriend ordered the spaghetti bolognese, which arrived beautifully presented. She said it was missing something, but I was too busy enjoying my excellent burger 😀 Bottom line: highly, highly recommended, especially for anyone wanting a break from Thai food.
Great burgers with large menu selection of burgers and drinks. The Aussie burger and fries was very tasty beef patty has some spices and herbs inside which makes it taste great. The smoothie had yoghurt and milk and was very filling on it's own. Great position to sit and eat and people watch as it's a busy corner. Plenty of seating inside and out. You won't be disappointed if you like burgers they are huge and very worth the price. Must try if you are in Chiang Rai city not far from clock tower.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I always eat at Heaven Burger in Chiang Rai, and the food is consistently delicious. But what truly makes every visit special is the waiter, Feeno 🩵. He is always amazingly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about his customers. Such a bright and friendly person who welcomes us with warmth and a big smile every time. His service makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
