Suki is the reason to come. Thai-style hotpot with broth, noodles, vegetables and meat, cooked quickly and priced so low you can order a second round without thinking about it. There's a run of stir-fries and other street food standards too, but I'd start with what the place is named for.
Don't turn up expecting much in the way of comfort. This is an open-air stand in the Si Phum area with basic seating and a kitchen that works at speed, and the crowd is mostly people who live nearby rather than anyone following a guidebook. That's the appeal. If you want air conditioning and a wine list, this isn't it. If you want a hot, cheap dinner after a long day walking the old city, it's exactly right.
