Reflections Rooftop Bar

4.9(40 reviews)

Perched atop The Nai Harn hotel in the Rawai area of southern Phuket, Reflections Rooftop Bar draws visitors for its sweeping views and laid-back evening atmosphere. Open every evening from 5pm, it is positioned to make the most of Phuket's sunsets, with guests often spending a couple of hours watching the sky change while working through the cocktail menu. The mixologists have drawn particular praise from regulars, and the bar also offers a food menu that includes options like satay and pizza for those looking to make an evening of it.

The setting features a sunken lounge area that can be reserved in advance, and live music performances are a regular fixture. The atmosphere leans toward relaxed and social, though some visitors have noted that the live band can occasionally be loud enough to make conversation difficult. A happy hour offering brings prices in line with more casual spots around Nai Harn, making it accessible for those who might assume a hotel rooftop bar carries a significant premium.

Advance reservations are recommended, particularly for the sunken lounge seating and on evenings when live music is scheduled. The bar opens at 17:00 daily and closes at 22:00, so arriving early is the best strategy for securing a good spot before sunset. The venue is located within The Nai Harn hotel, and more details on the current menu and entertainment schedule can be found on the hotel's dining page.

Can’t fault this place. Lovely live music, wonderful sunset and amazing food. We had the satay entree and a pizza to share along with a few cocktails, we made a reservation for the sunken lounge which had the best views for sunset. There was an oyster man walking by offering oysters with different topping options. Will definitely be back.

Amazing view, vibe, scenery, drinks and service. An experience to spend 2h watching sunset with a beverage of your choice. Highly recommended

Amazing looking bar, great drinks and spot to watch the sunset. One remark is the band, the volume is way too loud. It is hard to have a conversation and the instruments aren’t synced with the speakers which can be quite annoying. Singer is good but sometimes does too much, but that’s just my preference for a more relaxed lounge vibe

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars

Carry Your Passport or a Copy

Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.

Know the Closing Times

Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.

Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously

Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
