The band is the whole point. A Filipino outfit plays rock covers every night, takes requests, and by most accounts has been doing it well for years. If you want live music without a cover charge or any pretense, this is the kind of Pattaya bar that keeps people coming back season after season.
It sits in the Soi 7/8 alley next to the Bella Vista Hotel, part of an open-plan cluster of bars, so it's communal rather than tucked away. Beers have been going for around 75 baht, and the staff don't push you to keep ordering, which in this part of town counts for something. There's free pool if you're drinking. Watch out, because mixers can be billed separately from the spirit, so a Sangsom and Coke quoted at 70 baht can land at 120. Ask what the total comes to, not what the spirit costs.
If you want a quiet drink, go elsewhere. This is a place for a loud, sociable night with a decent band ten feet away.

I had an amazing time at Sky Music Live Bar! 🎶 The live music was fantastic, creating such a great atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the vibe was just perfect for a fun night out. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot to enjoy live performances and a good time in Pattaya!
Low prices for drinks, very nice band playing, ladies not pushing (even if, being in the covid period, there are not so many young girls - well, ok, almost none :) :) :)
Definitely one of the better bands in town and my beers are only 75 baht this year so pretty good value for a bar with a decent band. I've been coming here for several years now and they have always had a good band and always taking requests though the service can be hit or miss depending on how many drinks you are buying.
