Sky Music Bar soi7
Tucked into the lively Soi 7/8 alley beside the Bella Vista Hotel, Sky Music Bar is part of an open-plan cluster of bars that draws a steady crowd thanks to its nightly live music. The resident Filipino band plays rock covers, takes requests, and consistently earns praise from regulars and first-time visitors alike, making it one of the more reliable spots in Pattaya for quality live entertainment in an unpretentious setting. The atmosphere is casual and sociable, with drinks priced at the lower end of the Pattaya bar scale — beers have been noted at around 75 baht — and staff who are attentive without being pushy about ordering. The combination of good music, fair prices, and a low-pressure environment gives it a welcoming feel that keeps people coming back year after year. As the bar sits within a shared open-plan space, the experience is more communal than private. Those looking for a quiet drink may find it too lively, but for anyone after a fun night out centred around live rock music, it fits the bill well. No booking information is currently available and opening hours are not listed, so arriving in the early evening is a reasonable approach to securing a good spot before the music draws a crowd.

I had an amazing time at Sky Music Live Bar! 🎶 The live music was fantastic, creating such a great atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the vibe was just perfect for a fun night out. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot to enjoy live performances and a good time in Pattaya!
Low prices for drinks, very nice band playing, ladies not pushing (even if, being in the covid period, there are not so many young girls - well, ok, almost none :) :) :)
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
