Vinyl Sky Lounge by Supermoon
Perched above the streets of Pai, Vinyl Sky Lounge by Supermoon is a rooftop bar and lounge that draws visitors for its open-air setting, well-crafted cocktails, and laid-back music. Part of the Supermoon property, it pulls double duty as a social hub for both guests and walk-ins looking for a relaxed spot to wind down. The panoramic views make it a natural choice for catching the sunset, and the vibe leans firmly toward chill rather than high-energy nightclub. The bar program is a genuine highlight here — visitors consistently call out the cocktails as a standout, with bartenders who are both skilled and welcoming. Food is also on offer and earns positive marks for quality and value, making it a solid option for an early evening drink that stretches into dinner. The music tends toward the kind of background-friendly selection that keeps conversations easy without disappearing entirely. Good to know: Vinyl Sky Lounge opens at 15:00 daily (Monday appears to be closed, so worth confirming ahead of time) and closes at 23:00, making it well-suited for afternoon drinks through to a late evening. Sunset hour is the busiest and most scenic window, so arriving closer to opening time on a clear day is worth considering. The rooftop setting means open-air exposure, so a light layer can be handy on cooler evenings in the Pai hills.

It’s located just a little outside the main part of walking street in Pai. So perfect to reach all the places! For sure recommend staying at Supermoon hostel when in Pai. Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
