Spire Rooftop Bar Bangkok
Perched atop the Dusit Thani Bangkok on Thanon Rama IV, Spire Rooftop Bar occupies one of the more distinctive positions in the Silom district — directly overlooking Lumpini Park, with the broader Bangkok skyline stretching beyond. Visitors arriving around sunset from the park below often spot the venue and make it their next stop, a detail that speaks to its visual prominence. The layout is notably well-considered, with nearly every table positioned to take advantage of the views rather than reserving them for a select few. The bar draws a mixed crowd — couples, groups, and travellers alike — drawn by the combination of well-regarded cocktails, a full food menu, and an atmosphere that leans upscale without being stiff. The dress code is casual by rooftop bar standards, and reviews highlight that reservations are generally easier to secure here than at comparable venues in the city. Staff have been singled out by name in visitor feedback, which suggests a level of service that goes beyond the setting alone. Open every night from 5pm to 1am, the venue suits both early-evening sundowners and later-night drinks. Arriving between 5pm and 7pm offers a quieter experience, while the park views are particularly rewarding at dusk. Sala Daeng BTS station is the most convenient access point, placing the venue within easy reach of other Silom attractions. Booking ahead is advisable during peak season, though the venue's own feedback suggests availability is more accessible here than at many comparable Bangkok rooftop bars.

Visitor Reviews
What a wonderful experience. We visited Lumphini Park around sunset and noticed this rooftop bar from the park. After a quick search, we discovered this beautiful venue located on the top floor of the five-star Dusit Thani Hotel. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, and although the prices are higher than the usual Bangkok standard (19€ for a cocktail and a sprite), the experience is truly worth it. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, making it a great place for a special evening. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance. As we didn’t have one, we were seated at the bar, which was less comfortable and didn’t allow us to fully enjoy the view. The staff were extremely kind and professional throughout our visit. While they generally follow reservation policies quite strictly, they did eventually accommodate our request to move to a table for the remainder of our drinks, which we appreciated. Overall, it is an impressive rooftop bar with exceptional views and a high level of service, and we would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.
Love this rooftop bar. Great atmosphere, superb view of Lumpini park as well as the city. Love the layout as well, almost every table get to enjoy the views. Great for both romantic occasion or just enjoying the view with group of friends. Its a rooftop bar and restaurant, the food menu is enough of a selection to be a meal, many appetizers options as well. Food are delicious and of high quality. Cocktails here is good, full bar menu as well as wines and othe hard liquor.
Located in the Dustin Thani Hotel this is one of the best rooftop restaurants in Bangkok. I rate it high because it’s easy to get reservations, the dress code is casual, the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable for the views you’ll have. Recommend making reservations at least a day in advance. Perfect for special occasion or casual dining with friends. We had dinner with friends and all were very pleased!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
