ROGUE AFFAIR Cocktail Bar
Tucked away on the upper floor of a boutique hotel on Soi Convent 2, Rogue Affair is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar with a John Wick theme — the kind of place you only find with a tip from someone in the know. The lift ride up is half the fun, and what awaits is an intimate, thoughtfully designed bar that feels like a genuine discovery rather than a tourist stop. The drinks are the main draw. The bar offers bespoke cocktails alongside an extensive list of classics, with staff who bring both skill and warmth to the experience. The atmosphere skews quiet and cosy, particularly on weeknights, making it well suited to conversation-focused evenings rather than high-energy nights out. Regulars speak of it as a personal refuge, which says a lot about the consistency of both the drinks and the hospitality. Good to know: the bar is not visible from street level and requires navigating to the hotel entrance and taking the lift up — arriving without directions can mean missing it entirely, so save the address beforehand. The Si Lom location is convenient to reach via BTS Skytrain, with Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi stations both within walking distance. Opening hours are not publicly listed, so contacting the venue directly before visiting is advisable.

Visitor Reviews
A quiet and cosy hidden bar above a hotel. You’d never suspect such a nice cocktail bar from the outside of the building, but take the lift up to 5 and you find some of the best cocktails in Bangkok. We had five of their signature drinks and all were strong and tasty. And they offer something to satisfy everyone’s taste from sweet to bitter to spicy.
(Too) Many times here but just realized that I have not had a chance to write review. Everyone has that one spot where they feel at home—their safe zone. For me, it is Rogue Affairs. Drinks are amazing, and the bartenders are so friendly and attentive. Great vibes, great music. Highly recommend!
My friend recommended this spot and it was completely hidden away at the top of a hotel, without the recommendation, we would have not stumbled upon it - it was super cute and on most weekdays very quite as well, making it a great option for a girls night out!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
