Pattaya Avenue
Pattaya Avenue is a mid-sized open-air shopping centre in the heart of Pattaya that draws a steady mix of expats, tourists, and locals. Its anchor tenant, Villa Market, is a well-regarded supermarket stocking Western groceries, imported goods, and an impressive selection of European cheeses, making it a practical stop for long-stay visitors. The centre also hosts a Starbucks, Tops Wine Cellar with a terrace, a food court, McDonald's, the Robin Hood Tavern, and a cinema, giving it genuine variety under one address. The atmosphere is relaxed during the day and picks up in the evenings, particularly around the food court and restaurant terraces. Street food carts around the complex add a local flavour, with affordable seafood and fresh options sitting alongside international chains. Free parking is available, and the layout makes it easy to move between the supermarket, dining, and retail sections without a great deal of walking. Good to know: Pattaya Avenue is open every day from 10am to 11pm, making it a flexible option for an evening meal or a late grocery run after a day of sightseeing. Weekday afternoons tend to be quieter than weekends. Having Thai Baht on hand is useful for the food court and street vendors, though most larger shops accept card payments.

Visitor Reviews
I visit Pattaya Avenue to take strong black Americano coffee in Starbucks, to enjoy wine on the terrace of Tops Wine Cellar, to shop in Market Villa supermarket, the #1 place for European cheese, or to buy long length, below the knee Molecule brand board shorts from a unisex clothing outfitters. There is also a cinema, a large estate agency, luggage shop, hairdressers and various small hawker stands. Expats have a large and hugely popular Robinhood Tavern to drink in and watch sports. There is a McDonald's for the nutritionally challenged and a fabulous oyster bar for those with more refined palates. Need cash, no problem, there are a number of ATM machines available. Need a toilet, there are several public toilets. This place is busy all day, but it comes alive after dark.
This area has alot of varied and unique options. They have a solid supermarket here which is convenient and many different street food carts which is my favorite. You can have a healthy seafood and chicken dinner for two here, for the equivalent $9.00USD which is a steal. It's fun to walk around and peruse all the interesting items, food choices and drinking establishments. Certainly worth a stop if your nearby.
Great restaurants and a nice food court. There's a theater here but I haven't been yet. I found a good realtor here and there is a good mix of business here. Free parking Is nice. Short cut thru to 3rd road.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
