4.7(35 reviews)

Seafari, located within Mike Mall on Pattaya Sai Song Road, is a dive and water sports operator offering scuba diving instruction, guided dives, and snorkelling excursions for visitors of all experience levels. Rather than a traditional shopping or market destination, this listing represents a tour and travel agency specialising in underwater experiences along the Pattaya coastline. Visitors can expect guided dive trips that include boat transport to multiple dive sites, with snorkelling packages also available for families and younger travellers. Reviewers highlight the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and note that instructors brief divers on what to expect at each site before entering the water. Snorkelling trips have been praised for their family-friendly format, which typically includes transport, boat travel, two locations, and lunch. Experiences do vary depending on the instructor assigned, so first-time divers may wish to request a specific guide when booking. Open seven days a week from 08:00 to 20:00, Seafari is accessible throughout the week, making it straightforward to fit into a Pattaya itinerary. Those new to scuba diving are advised to communicate any concerns or limitations clearly at the time of booking to ensure the right level of instruction and support. The website at seafari.co.th provides further detail on available tours and pricing.

Visitor Reviews

I had an amazing first scuba diving experience, and it was all thanks to Greg. As a diving instructor, he is truly exceptional. From the very beginning, he took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently — from understanding the scuba cylinders, valves, and regulators to proper buoyancy control and underwater communication. I felt comfortable with the equipment and confident before descending, and once underwater, he calmly taught me essential diving skills step by step. His guidance on breathing techniques and equalization made the dive feel smooth and enjoyable. What really stood out was how friendly, supportive, and attentive Greg was throughout the entire dive. He constantly checked in, reassured me, and helped me build confidence at every stage. Thanks to his professionalism and positive energy, my first dive was not only safe but incredibly memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor for my introduction to the underwater world. I highly recommend Greg to anyone, especially first-time divers looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging scuba instructor. Hope to see you again next year — highly recommended!

Great company and easy going atmosphere. Neil constantly shares his experiences and briefs on what to see for each dive. Looking forward to doing more....

I dove with Greg and the others they were great. I had a lot of fun and felt very safe during the dive. I will dive with them again.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls

Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.

Arrive Early or Late

Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.

Be Cautious with Tailors

Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
