Eat Street Major Foods Plaza
Tucked inside the Pattaya Avenue shopping centre, this open-air food court draws both locals and visitors with its straightforward setup and genuine variety. Unlike some competing food courts in Pattaya, there is no prepaid card system required — diners order and pay directly at each stall, keeping things simple and flexible. The vendor selection spans Thai staples, Isaan dishes, noodle soups, Indian, and Lebanese food, with meals cooked fresh to order rather than sitting under heat lamps. The atmosphere is notably relaxed and rarely overcrowded, which makes it a pleasant contrast to busier dining spots in the city. There is no air conditioning, but ventilation fans are positioned throughout the space, keeping the environment reasonably comfortable. Seating is easy to come by, and the casual pace suits travellers who want a proper meal without the pressure of a busy restaurant floor. Visitor feedback consistently highlights the quality and freshness of the food relative to the price point. Good to know: Eat Street operates every day from 10:00am to 7:30pm, making it a practical stop for lunch or an early dinner while visiting the Avenue mall. Not all stalls may be open simultaneously, particularly outside peak hours, so arriving around midday gives the best chance of finding the full range of vendors trading. Cash is recommended, as smaller stalls may not accept card payments.

Visitor Reviews
Wish I'd discovered this place sooner, excellent food at reasonable prices and plenty of choice from the different vendors. You don't need to get a food court card to pay for meals here unlike Central. Plenty of seating, the only downside is no air-conditioning but they do have fans which helps a bit with the heat. The juice bar here is also excellent, the passion fruit smoothie really good.
This is literally the best place to eat in Pattaya! Many friendly vendors serving Gourmet food that is very fresh. Much better than the other food mall food courts, and higher quality and selection then most restaurants at a lower price. It closes at 7:00 p.m., but now there is a lively evening food court that is also a great place to eat. Highly recommended!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
