Big C Extra Central Pattaya
One of the largest hypermarkets in Pattaya, this Big C Extra on Thanon Pattaya Klang operates as a genuine one-stop shopping destination covering an impressive breadth of departments under one air-conditioned roof. Fresh produce, packaged groceries, cookware, sportswear, electronics, and household goods are all well represented, making it equally useful for tourists and longer-stay residents alike. A food court area hosts recognisable chains including Dunkin' Donuts, Dairy Queen, and Potato Corner, offering an easy meal or snack stop during a browse. The atmosphere is clean, organised, and comfortably cool — a practical retreat from the heat that doubles as a productive shopping trip. Visitors staying in self-catering accommodation will find the supermarket section particularly well stocked, and those needing mid-trip essentials such as clothing or sports equipment will find plenty to browse. Souvenirs, local snacks, and packaged food products to bring home are also reliably available at competitive prices. Good to know: The centre opens daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, giving flexibility for both morning and evening visits. Late afternoon and evening tend to be the busiest periods, so a mid-morning visit will generally be more relaxed. Ample on-site parking is available for travellers with a rental vehicle. Several visitors have noted that the toilet facilities are a weak point, so it is worth keeping expectations modest on that front.

A very big supermarket from the famous big c chain. Probably the biggest in this city. Be sure to get something from here at very decent rates. Tourists are sure to find something to bring home to such as famous local snacks. You can also buy ready to eats here.
Fantastic mall. You can basically buy anything here. Food stores such as Dunkin Donuts, Dairy Queen and Potato Corner. Grocery from the Big C supermarket. Sport equipment like football cleats, jerseys, gloves, retro jerseys, shin pads and socks. Furniture is also available on the second flour. Tourist souvenirs such as Thai pants, Thai shirts and other cool stuff. There are multiple jewellery shops in the mall and you can even get a massage. Awesome mall.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
