Villa Moonshadow

4.9(32 reviews)

Perched on a hill in Chaweng Noi on the eastern side of Koh Samui, Villa Moonshadow is a private villa property that combines dramatic sea views with a calm, nature-immersed atmosphere. The elevated position affords wide panoramic views of the ocean, and the beautifully crafted interiors create a sense of refined comfort that feels a world away from the island's busier tourist areas. Guests can expect a genuinely peaceful environment with attentive staff, well-appointed facilities, and an infinity pool that serves as a natural centrepiece for the property. The surrounding natural setting adds to the sense of seclusion, making it a strong choice for travellers seeking rest and privacy rather than proximity to nightlife or crowds. Reviewers consistently highlight the atmosphere as one of the defining qualities of a stay here. Villa Moonshadow operates around the clock, making it suitable for guests arriving on late-night or early-morning flights into Koh Samui. Given the hilltop location, visitors should be aware that access may involve a winding road, so renting a vehicle or arranging transfers in advance is advisable. Booking directly through the official website is recommended to confirm availability and discuss any specific requirements ahead of arrival.

Villa Moonshadow is a fantastic place to stay! Perched on a hill in Chaweng Noi, it offers amazing sea views that are hard to beat. The infinity pool was definitely a highlight—it’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up the beauty of Koh Samui. The villa itself is stylish and comfortable, with a great mix of luxury and nature. The gardens are well-kept and add a nice peaceful vibe. The staff were super friendly and made everything so easy, from delicious meals to arranging massages and activities. The location is also top notch—close to some beautiful beaches like Coral Cove and Crystal Beach, but still private and quiet. The villa had everything we needed and was really cozy. Overall, Villa Moonshadow is an amazing spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat!

Waking up to the breathtaking ocean view and starting the day with a refreshing dip in the pool is truly unforgettable. The design of the villa is stunning, and every detail is thoughtfully crafted to create a luxurious experience. I can’t recommend it enough for an unforgettable stay!

Villa MOONSHADOW is a very lovely place to be. Nearly on the top of a mountain of Caweng Noi on the Eastside of Koh Samui. With an unforgettable wide seaview. In the middle of the nature with all the amazing noises of jungle. Very attractive architecture compared with a beautiful garden and all is very well maintained. A absolutely reccomendable place for relaxation and joy on a high level. Staff is very friendly.

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
