About Koh Ngai Cliff Beach Resort
Cliff Beach is a large resort built up the hillside at the far north end of Koh Ngai's main beach, the farthest from the pier and the quietest spot on the island. Its rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and big sea views from the upper floors, and the staff bring luggage up by golf cart, because the rest of the way is stairs.
The pool, on the cliff with a view over the little islands offshore, is the best on Koh Ngai. Breakfast is included, and the restaurant gets good reviews. The beach below is rocky, so swim out to the reef at high tide, or walk south along the sand to the main stretch. Light My Fire, the island's friendliest bar, is just below it.
