The Hideaway Resort
Compare prices
Nestled on Soi Hua Hin 9, The Hideaway Resort offers airy rooms and villas, most with private pools, set within a calm and quiet environment away from the busier parts of Hua Hin. The resort appeals to travellers looking for a peaceful retreat rather than a central, activity-filled stay, and guests consistently note the tranquil atmosphere and the appeal of having a private pool. The on-site restaurant adds convenience for those who prefer to stay close to home base. That said, prospective guests should go in with realistic expectations. Several visitors have noted that the property is showing its age, with rooms and pool areas displaying visible wear. Reports of cleanliness issues and maintenance shortcomings suggest the resort may not suit travellers with high standards for upkeep. Communication with staff and check-in experiences have also drawn mixed feedback, so it is worth confirming all bookings and requests well in advance. The resort's location is quiet and somewhat removed from Hua Hin's shops, restaurants, and beach, so independent transport — such as Grab or taxis — is recommended for getting around. This suits guests who value privacy and do not mind arranging their own transfers, but may feel isolating for those who prefer to walk to amenities. As no website is currently listed, direct contact or a third-party booking platform is the most reliable way to arrange a stay.

Visitor Reviews
Loved the location we were travelling places and felt that it was convenient. It can get dark at night but for us it was alright as we took grab/ taxi in and out. Nice and quiet place no noise, and not much people. Feels really hidden away, just like the name suggest. Rooms and bed was comfy with a good view. The swimming pool looked lovely in the sun and in phototaking, just that we were not keen in swimming in it. They will pump the water in the swimming pool at night and change the water too, so seem okay. One thing to note is the non-aircon lobby. Beware of mosquitoes, if you stay in the room like us and close the balcony door and door, youll be fine. No mosquitoes bitten us during our 3 days stay. What overides this is their good service. Unfortunately i had my regular blood flow on the second day and we needed pads. Without a word the two guys in lobby found a key and drove us to the nearby convenient store to get pads. Really served us above and beyond! When we asked for extra water, they gave willingly without charge as well (please dont misuse this 😂) . Really good service and recommend for the service~
Very nice place , great pool. Just to far from actively,
The room is a bit outdated and showing signs of wear. There was also a bug problem with lots of ants, so don’t leave food around for too long. The pool is nice but also showing signs of wear, tiles missing and the ladder is not good. The hotel probably needs a big renovation soon. The hotel is quite far away from the main area of Hua Hin, but with renting a motorcycle it’s not a problem. The hotel is very quiet and relaxed. There’s a beach close by. Despite all the problems, the hotel is still very good and worth staying at. The room is still nice despite wear and a few ants. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
