Chillax Resort
Compare prices
Tucked into Bangkok's historic Phra Nakhon district along Thanon Samsen, Chillax Resort strikes a balance that is genuinely difficult to find in this part of the city — close enough to the energy of Khaosan Road to explore on foot, yet far enough removed to sleep soundly. The hotel caters to couples and leisure travellers looking for a touch of indulgence, with rooms featuring whirlpool tubs and a rooftop infinity pool that draws consistent praise from guests. Rooms are well-appointed and kept clean, and the breakfast offering earns particular mention from visitors, with both European and Thai options available. The rooftop pool is a standout feature, providing a calm retreat above the city. Balconies are present in some rooms but are noted by guests as decorative rather than functional, so those prioritising outdoor space should factor that in. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful throughout. The surrounding neighbourhood is well-served by small local restaurants and convenient transport links, making it a practical base for exploring Bangkok's old town, temples, and the river. Prospective guests should book directly or via a reputable platform in advance, particularly during peak travel seasons between November and February, when demand for well-located Bangkok hotels runs high.

Visitor Reviews
This place is amazing the beds are so comfy and the jacuzzi tub is so relaxing. Wish they had better channels on the tv but with so much to do in the area you don't have time to watch. The infinity pool on the roof is great with a little bar right by the pool. The water is so clear you can see to the bottom. The food is amazing well priced and so delicious. The have a gym which is a nice perk and a massage place right next to it. You have to book in advance but only 30 mins which isn't bad.
Great hotel, friendly staff and superb facilities. Fantastic rooms ,clean and fresh balconies are only for show and not usable. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of options, European and Thai The only draw back it is a long way from Metro or BTS stations. So getting around can take time (tip , google number 53 bus ,very local 8 baht per trip and goes in lage circle every 10 mins) and river ferries are good Surrounding area very good with bars and restaurants 10 min walk to Khao San Road.
Nice hotel with very good location and own swiming pool on the roof. We spand couple of days there on our way back from Koh Pha Ngan, and we enjoid the location with many small restaurants nearby and legendary KhaoSan road.
