Sea Fire Salt at Anantara Hua Hin Resort
Situated directly on the beach within the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, this seafood-forward restaurant delivers a genuinely strong combination of setting and food — something visitors note is rarer than it sounds. Diners eat on the sand beside the sea, making it a natural choice for evening meals when the coastal atmosphere is at its most appealing. The menu leans toward seafood with both Thai coastal influences and European-oriented preparations, which means it tends to suit international palates as much as those looking for local flavours. Recent visitors have praised the quality of the food alongside the striking beachfront setting, with the restaurant noted as relatively new to the Hua Hin dining scene. The atmosphere balances a relaxed beach setting with the polished service expected of a luxury resort property, making it suitable for special occasions, romantic dinners, or a considered night out with family. Arriving early for dinner is recommended to settle in before the evening crowd, and reserved tables are reported to be well prepared on arrival. Good to know: Sea Fire Salt sits within the Anantara Hua Hin Resort grounds, so independent visitors should confirm access before arriving. Reservations are advisable, particularly on weekends and during peak travel periods. The beachfront setting makes evening visits the standout choice, both for comfort in the cooler temperatures and for the atmosphere after dark.

Visitor Reviews
July 2025 Sea Fire Salt is a new beach front restaurant which is located in Anantara Resort and we visited it for dinner on Saturday night, 5/7/25. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere! Everything was beyond perfect—I was ready to give the restaurant a six-star review. We loved our meals so much that we returned the following Wednesday to enjoy the same dishes again. While the service remained excellent, the food was noticeably different and not as impressive. We were surprised by such a big change. After speaking with the staff, we learned that there was a different chef in the kitchen that night. The chef who prepared our incredible meals on Saturday was named Man, and we will definitely be coming back only when Man is cooking. The ribeye steak and yelloweye tuna were unforgettable, as well as a butternut soup and all the side dishes that we had. Based on our first visit, I am still happy to give Sea Fire Salt a 5-star review and hope the quality continues to be as exceptional as it was that Saturday night. The venue’s setup is ideal, with a luxurious yet cozy interior, breathtaking views, and outstanding service. Thank you, Sea Fire Salt team, for a memorable dining experience!
We had a wonderful beachfront dinner in Hua Hin with my wife and daughter, sitting right on the sand by the sea. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed, with our reserved table perfectly ready. The January sea breeze and live band with a lovely female singer created a beautiful atmosphere. The food was excellent—from the octopus starter to a perfectly cooked medium-well beef tenderloin and an outstanding chocolate mousse dessert. My wife’s carbonara was also delicious, and every dish showed the touch of a skilled chef. What truly made the evening special was the service. The staff were kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Special thanks to Khun Pang and Khun Ban for making our night so memorable. As locals, we are already looking forward to coming back.
Sea Fire Salt at Anantara Hua Hin is truly a game-changer for the dining scene here. Usually, restaurants with stunning photo spots tend to fall short on taste – but not this one. The food here is absolutely delicious, with a Michelin-level feel, outstanding flavors, and top-quality ingredients. If you’re staying at Anantara Hua Hin, you might not even want to leave the hotel. The lunch and dinner menus are different, so you can happily dine here every day without getting bored. During my stay, I ended up having both lunch and dinner here – and loved every single meal. Highly recommended for both hotel guests and anyone visiting Hua Hin who’s looking for an exceptional culinary experience.
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
