My stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin was one of the best hotel experiences I had during my trip to Thailand. From the very first moment, the elegance and relaxing atmosphere stand out — tropical gardens, traditional Thai aesthetics, and direct access to a sandy beach create a true oasis of calm. The hotel is located right on the beachfront, away from the noise of the city, which provides a great sense of privacy and tranquility. At the same time, it is close enough to the center of Hua Hin to easily go for an evening walk or shopping. The rooms are spacious, tastefully designed, and very clean — perfect for relaxing after a sunny day. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, and tropical views from the windows made returning “home” each day a real pleasure. The resort features beautifully maintained swimming pools, including a large main pool with a sea view as well as quieter areas ideal for relaxation. The beach is accessible during low tide and calm sea conditions. The hotel restaurant serves delicious Thai and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and dinners with an ocean view were truly enjoyable. The staff are polite, attentive, and always willing to make guests feel comfortable and well cared for. The fitness center, spa, and lush tropical gardens add to the resort’s luxurious character. A big plus are the poolside activities and the friendly, relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. It is an ideal place both for a romantic getaway and for a family vacation — the hotel combines high-quality service, comfort, and a unique location. I highly recommend Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin to anyone looking for relaxation in a luxurious tropical setting.
Outstanding service, and great breakfast buffet + cocktails (love the Whisky Sour!) + massage session. Decent daily chocolate hour and half board lunch / dinner - we really loved the mango sticky rice at Baan Dum (generous amounts of sweet, juicy mango)! The above was all included, courtesy of the Luxury Escapes package. The room was also nice and big, huge bathroom area and bathtub. Location was also good, convenient distance to the popular Hua Hin markets. And not to mention the phenomenal annd breathtaking ocean views from both Kampu and Baan Dum. Oh and you obviously have to pay for this but amazing Mövenpick icecream - I had 2 scoops everyday! Really appreciate how above and beyond the staff are willing to go to help you and fulfill your requests - special shoutout to Bank for helping us late at night to sort out some difficulties with an incorrect grab order (and helping us speak to the relevant people in Thai, and specially hand-delivering the eventual correct order to us in our room). Overall, the reception and room service staff (and even the Bartender - shoutout to Sky) was always very receptive to helping us sort out anything, and their willingness and smiles on their faces while they helped made all the difference. The only slightly disappointing part was the upkeep of the gym - the gym is rather small and basic, and there were certain times the gym was filled with dust and many mosquitoes (I would have expected for the gym to have been cleaned out properly every day). But not too much of a crinkle in our overall experience.
My stay at this hotel in Thailand was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, and has an incredible atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The food was delicious – fresh, diverse, and full of local flavors. Every meal was a real pleasure! The people there are incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Special thanks go to The Guest Relations Manager, Joey, was extremely polite and always ready to help in any situation. General Manager Paul, who takes care of the guests with great dedication and heart. And the waitress, Gib, is a true gem – wonderful and warm 🤍 Thanks to people like them, this hotel is truly special. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!
