Anchan Boutique Hotel & Spa

4.3(222 reviews)

Anchan Boutique Hotel & Spa sits on Poon Suk Road in the heart of Hua Hin, offering guests a compact but well-rounded stay with an outdoor pool, spa, café, and bar all on-site. The property appeals to travellers looking for a convenient base close to Hua Hin's beach, restaurants, and night market, without committing to a larger resort-style hotel. Rooms are described by guests as generally clean with comfortable beds, and the outdoor pool is a consistent highlight, noted for staying open late into the evening. The spa adds an extra layer of appeal for those seeking some downtime. The hotel's central location works well for exploring the town on foot, though rooms on the eastern side of the property can pick up street noise at night, so lighter sleepers may want to request a quieter room when booking. It is worth noting that guest experiences have been mixed, with some visitors raising concerns about room condition and maintenance. Prospective guests are advised to check recent reviews before booking and to confirm room details directly with the hotel. Those visiting Hua Hin primarily for its nightlife and dining scene are likely to find the location particularly convenient, while travellers prioritising a quiet retreat may want to weigh up the noise factor. The hotel operates around the clock, making it a practical option for early arrivals or late departures.

Visitor Reviews

Good price quality ratio. The rooms are clean and the bed is nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Which is open till late. The design of the rainshower is not so smart. It makes the whole bathroom wet. Overall we had a good experience.

Not a bad hotel at all. It's probably even well located for people that go for entertaining purposes but for people that want to relax it might be a little bit loud in the night. Apart from that it's a alright place for the price

Good hotel in a convenient location. Rooms on eastern end may be a tad noisy at night. Staff super helpful. Beds are a tad on the firm side. Looks like an outdoor jacuzzi is being installed. Fabulous.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts

Book Shoulder Season

May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.

Compare OTAs and Direct Rates

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
