About Kalumè Eco Boutique Resort
Kalumè is a small Italian-run resort on the main beach of Koh Kradan, with eight wooden bungalows and two villas in a tropical garden facing the sea. The bungalows have queen beds, big terraces, fans and mosquito nets, and showers heated by solar panels, and the villas have king beds and glass walls onto the water. There's no air conditioning, and the resort runs on solar energy and avoids plastic where it can.
Its restaurant, open 08:00–22:30, is the island's Italian kitchen, with pizza, pasta, homemade bread and desserts. Kayaks, masks and fins are there for guests to use, and the resort books tours, fishing trips and transfers. Reviewers single out the food, the owners and the quiet.
