Nakaraj Princess Chiang Rai
Compare prices
Nakaraj Princess Chiang Rai is a characterful hotel on Srikerd Road that stands out less for its facilities and more for the warmth of its hospitality and the value it delivers. Rooms are notably spacious and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The property carries a quirky, rustic charm that guests consistently appreciate, and the owner and staff are frequently praised for their attentiveness — including hands-on touches like helping guests carry heavy luggage. The hotel's location is one of its strongest practical assets. It sits within walking distance of the Chiang Rai Night Market and Walking Street, placing guests close to some of the city's most popular evening attractions without putting them in the middle of street noise. Free breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking are included, adding solid everyday value for both leisure and independent travellers. A few minor considerations are worth noting: water pressure can occasionally be inconsistent, and the property is best understood as a charming, well-priced guesthouse-style hotel rather than a full-service luxury resort. Booking directly through the hotel's own website may offer the best available rates. The hotel operates around the clock, making it straightforward for guests arriving on early or late flights into Chiang Rai.

Visitor Reviews
The rooms are very spacious and clean, with extremely comfortable beds. The hotel is centrally located but away from street noise, ensuring a peaceful stay. The staff is kind and attentive to every need. On our last day, we had an early departure, and they kindly prepared a breakfast for us to take away. The hotel's decor is quite eccentric and definitely worth experiencing.
I am giving a five-star rating not because the property has five-star facilities, but because the service and the value for the price you pay are absolutely worth it. The place has real charm, and if you are looking for unassuming authenticity, this is the one. The staff are lovely, diligent, communicate effectively, and resolve minor room issues promptly.
Rustic bunglow vibes with superb location. Walking distance to the night market and walking street (a must do!). Breakfast was okay and water pressure was off sometimes but the staff are amazing.
