Daeng Beach

Daeng Beach is a compact coastal bay located on Koh Larn island, a short boat ride from Pattaya. Despite its modest size, the beach draws visitors for its clear blue waters and the underwater world beneath them — rocky outcrops and coral formations shelter a variety of fish, making it a rewarding spot for snorkellers. The surrounding scenery also lends itself to photography, particularly during sunset when the light over the bay is at its most striking. Beachside restaurants offer food and seating, so visitors can comfortably spend several hours here. That said, the beach does get crowded, and swimming is confined to a designated fenced area due to the presence of speed boats and jet skis operating nearby. The limited swimming zone is worth keeping in mind, especially for those travelling with children or expecting open-water swimming. Bringing snorkelling equipment is strongly recommended, as it significantly enhances the experience. Visiting earlier in the day or on weekdays may help avoid the heaviest crowds. As with most beaches on Koh Larn, access typically involves catching a ferry or speedboat from Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier, so factoring in travel time is advisable when planning the day.
