Very interesting and authentic cooking class. Starts in a market near the school and you get to see local products from local vendors. Then it's off to class! The instructor was amazing and able to keep track of the progress of each of the three dishes everyone had chosen during prep, cooking, and finish. As a group we made coconut cream, coconut milk (that we used), tempura bananas, and mango sticky rice. At the end we had plenty to eat, plenty to share, and enough to take away. I would go to this school again in a heartbeat. They have other offerings for more in depth study; next visit definitely!
I had an amazing time at Phuket Thai Cooking Academy! This is a really unique cooking class experience where you get to choose 4 different dishes across soup/salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert and travel to a Thai market for shopping before. The cooking experience was beginner friendly, but hands on. The food prepared was delicious, and we were able to take leftovers. King is an amazing instructor. She’s super kind, smart, and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone visiting Phuket!!
