Koh Yao Yai Green Island Tour & Trip

4.8(39 reviews)

Based on Koh Yao Yai in Phang-nga Bay, this tour and travel agency specialises in private boat tours, island-hopping excursions, and transfers for visitors exploring the quieter side of the Phuket region. Operating from a base well outside the busier tourist circuits, the company offers access to lesser-known destinations including the Khai Islands, Hong Island, Ho Island, and Laem Had Beach — many of which attract noticeably smaller crowds than the more commercialised spots around Phuket proper.

Visitors can expect a well-coordinated, end-to-end service that handles logistics from pickup to drop-off. Popular activities include snorkelling, kayaking, and beach stops, with guides and boat captains consistently described by travellers as friendly and attentive. Private bookings appear to be a strong suit, making this a practical choice for small groups or families who prefer a more personalised experience over group tours. The agency also arranges transfers between Koh Yao Yai and Phuket, including connecting taxis on both ends.

The agency is open every day of the week from 08:00 to 20:00, which allows for flexible booking and itinerary planning. Their Facebook page serves as the primary online presence, so travellers are advised to make contact there to confirm availability, discuss tour options, and arrange pickups in advance — particularly during peak season when private tours may book out quickly.

Reviews from Google

Today we did a private tour to the Khai Islands for snorkeling and a beach. It was amazing - staff in the office is kind and helpful, our guide and boat was out our pickup point early, we steered clear of areas full of tourists, and he took incredible photos of us. We are also booking a mangrove tour and Hong Island hopping tour. The prices are the best on the island and they are flexible to your every need! If you are at Santhiya, skip the tour desk and just walk down the street to here. A fraction of the cost and you have to option to have a private tour instead of with random hotel guests!

The four of us had an amazing trip (best sea tour I’ve ever had). We took the Hong island tour and visited quite a few small islands. Most of them were not crowded and we saw quite a lot of sea animals and other wildlife (i.e., monkeys and flying foxes).

We did the Kayaking and the Ho Island privately and the experience was amazing. Everything was well coordinated, drivers to pick up us and the captain and guides kind and friendly. Recommended 100%!!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
