Why go, and how to do it well

Families with kids under about twelve are the audience here, and they tend to leave happy. The draw is the jeep ride out to the giraffes, close enough for photos, plus paid add-ons like a private room session with alpacas or a picture with a tiger. There are elephant, tiger and crocodile shows running through the day, an elephant ride up a small hill through the trees, and non-animal stuff like ATVs and paintball if your group has mixed interests. Reviewers repeatedly mention how clean and well kept the grounds are, and how attentive the staff seem. There's a café on site.

Now the honest part. Several visitors have come away uncomfortable with the shows, describing the tigers as looking sedated and subdued and the crocodile handling as unpleasant to watch. If that's a line you don't want to cross, skip the shows and stick to the giraffe jeep. There's also ongoing construction around parts of the park and the road outside, so it's not a polished finished product.

Reviews from Google

Experience an unforgettable safari adventure in Hua Hin! Hop aboard a jeep and capture stunning photos with the friendly giraffes up close. The safari also features thrilling shows with tigers, elephants, and crocodiles that will keep you entertained throughout the day. For a truly unique experience, enjoy an elephant ride as it gently climbs a small hill through the lush jungle. And if you’re looking for a cozy spot to relax, the safari café is a must-visit — highly recommended for its atmosphere and charm. The attentive staff provide exceptional service, ensuring your visit is as memorable as the adventure itself.

A super good experience to close with all wild animals. Unexpected how good is it. The staffs are super nice and bring us walk around zoo like a private tour. The worth place in Hua Hin

The place itself is beautiful and nicely decorated, very colorful and well maintained. We attended the crocodile show and the tiger show but honestly, it was not a comfortable experience. During the crocodile show, it felt like the crocodiles had been through something unpleasant, and it was not enjoyable to watch. The tiger show was even harder the tigers looked sedated, scared, and definitely not at their best. There is also an option to take photos with the tigers, but again, it seemed like they were under sleeping pills or some kind of sedatives. We decided to skip the elephant show altogether. In conclusion: While the place may look nice on the outside, I believe it is not suitable for anyone who cares about animal welfare. The overall feeling was that the animals are not treated with proper respect, which made the visit very uncomfortable.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.

Check Operator Safety Records

For adventure activities (zip-lining, bungee jumping, diving), check recent reviews specifically mentioning equipment condition and safety briefings. Thailand's regulation varies — reputable operators will have insurance and certified guides.
