The Camp Muay Thai Resort & Academy in Hang Dong, south of Chiang Mai, is the stay-and-train camp that tells you up front what it is not: there is no swimming pool, meals are not included and airport transfers are not bundled. What the money goes on instead is coaching density. Stay & Train guests are coached semi-privately at a maximum of two students per trainer, across four full-size rings, twenty-two Fairtex heavy bags and 12,000 square feet of training space, with a Lite plan of two sessions a day or a Full plan of four. A coworking space on site is there because many guests are remote workers on extended stays.
Rooms are private executive rooms with en suite or gender-separated dormitories for adult solo travelers, and pricing is dynamic by date, room and plan, so the only accurate total comes from the camp's own booking page; weekly and monthly discounts apply automatically. Training-only walk-ins are welcome too, and beginners are explicitly catered for, with intensity scaled by the coaches. A Detox & Weight Loss program swaps regular meals for juice-based nutrition during a fasting phase.

Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
Check Operator Safety Records
For adventure activities (zip-lining, bungee jumping, diving), check recent reviews specifically mentioning equipment condition and safety briefings. Thailand's regulation varies — reputable operators will have insurance and certified guides.
