Explorenique
Explorenique is a boutique tour agency based in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, offering private and customisable tours of the city and its surrounds. The operation is centred on personalised experiences rather than large group itineraries, with guides who plan routes around each visitor's interests and schedule. Popular outings include tuk-tuk sunset tours through Bangkok's backstreets, long-tail boat rides along the canals, and day trips to landmarks such as the Floating Market, the Tree Temple, and the Dragon Temple. What sets Explorenique apart is the attention to detail that guides bring to each tour. Visitors consistently note that routes are tailored on request, transportation is arranged in advance, and guides share local stories and context that go well beyond standard sightseeing. The pace is kept comfortable, and off-the-beaten-track spots feature alongside well-known attractions, giving travellers a fuller picture of Bangkok. Explorenique operates seven days a week from 09:00 to 22:00, making it possible to book both daytime excursions and evening tours. Visitors planning a short stay in Bangkok would do well to reach out in advance through the website to discuss options and secure a preferred time slot, as private tours with a dedicated guide can book up quickly.

Visitor Reviews
Mr Geng was an amazing guide. He customized the perfect tour for us. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. We had the most enjoyable day at the Floating Market, Tree Temple, Dragon Temple and seeing the Reclining Buddha. We also had a delicious lunch at a cafe he suggested. He stopped when we needed to recharge with coffee, and never made us feel rushed. Our driver was wonderful as well. I only wish we had longer in Bangkok, and could spend another day with Mr.Geng and see more gems a little off the beaten path.
The Explorenique Tuk Tuk Sunset Tour was absolutely amazing! 🌆 Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, and showed us hidden corners of Bangkok we’d never have found on our own. Cruising the canals by long-tail boat and watching the sunset from a temple viewpoint was unforgettable. The food stops were delicious too — especially the local Pad Thai! Highly recommend this experience if you want to see the real Bangkok in a unique and authentic way. 💛🚴♀️✨
A tour around Bangkok with Mr. Geng is just what you need next time you find yourself in the city. You can see a wide range of the city and what it has to offer and customize the tour if necessary. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable about what we were seeing. We were able to eat a selection of street food which was a treat. Would definitely recommend to groups who wants to see the sites and enjoy a tuk tuk ride!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
