Emerald Spa & Massage
Tucked inside Tipp Plaza 3 in central Pattaya, this spa has built a loyal following among visitors seeking genuine, therapeutic massage rather than the cut-price, low-quality alternatives that are easy to stumble upon in the area. Reviewers consistently highlight it as a legitimate operation, noting the professionalism of staff who tailor pressure to individual preferences and take the time to address specific issues such as muscle tension and office-related strain. The foot wash offered before massage treatments is a small but appreciated touch that sets the tone for the level of care on offer. Visitors can expect a clean, calm environment where therapists demonstrate real skill across a range of treatments, including oil massage and targeted therapeutic work. Staff are noted for their attentiveness and willingness to adjust technique throughout a session, making it a suitable choice for those with particular needs or sensitivities. Good to know: The location marked on Google Maps has been reported as inaccurate by visitors — the spa is situated next to a Lanzhou noodle restaurant within the plaza, so look for that as your landmark when navigating. As opening hours and advance booking information are not readily available online, calling ahead or visiting in person is the most reliable way to confirm availability, especially during Pattaya's busier tourist periods.

Visitor Reviews
Jo gave me a 1h “office syndrome” massage and it must have been the best massage Ive had in my life. She is a true professional. Firm but still asked several times if the pressure was ok. She found the pressure points and knots like a ninja and worked her way through them. I have never felt such shoulder relief!
The location on Google Maps is wrong. The massage shop is located right next to the Lanzou noodle restaurant. I recommend this place because of They do wash foot before massage, and many massage shops in pattaya don't have a washfoot basin. They wipe foot with a wet towel. Staff was experienced.
Emerald Spa & Massage is definitely a hidden gem. The prices are reasonable, the service is fantastic, and the massage itself was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly exceptional massage experience. I will definitely be back! Five stars!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
