Cliff Spa Pattaya
Perched on the sixth floor of the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel along Phra Tamnuk Road, Cliff Spa Pattaya offers an open-air spa experience with sweeping views over the Gulf of Thailand. Its signature outdoor pavilions provide a sense of seclusion despite the elevated setting, and visitors frequently highlight the combination of ocean scenery and professional massage technique as the defining draw. The treatment spaces are described as wide, clean, and serene — closer in feel to private sanctuaries than conventional therapy rooms. The spa specialises in massage and wellness treatments delivered in an al fresco environment, with guests noting that the terrace setting remains comfortable even around midday. Staff have been praised for their attentiveness and professionalism, with several visitors calling out individual therapists by name — a sign of consistently personalised service. That said, at least one visitor found the open setting too exposed for their liking, so those seeking a fully enclosed, hushed interior spa experience may want to weigh that consideration before booking. As opening hours and pricing are not publicly listed, prospective visitors are advised to contact the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel directly to confirm session availability, treatment options, and rates before arriving. Given its location within a major hotel complex, advance booking is recommended, particularly during peak travel periods and weekends.

Visitor Reviews
This was one of the most refined and deeply satisfying spa experiences I’ve had in my life. The rooms were wide, clean, and serene. The rooms feel more like private sanctuaries than therapy spaces. Private bathroom facilities is a major plus for comfort and post session refreshment. The massage is unfolds with a direct view of the sea, and during daytime hours, natural light seeps in softly pure therapy for the soul. Once you finish the massage, you will enjoy the private jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room (a rare luxury that extends the experience). The staff is skilled, discreet, and attentive to detail without being intrusive. I would absolutely return again, and recommend without hesitation for everyone.
I came here this morning. The terrace is the best — such a beautiful place with a lovely view! Thank you to Ms.Saipan for explaining and showing me everything at the spa. Her uniform is very nice — I really like it. It reflects Thai culture beautifully.
Highly recommend the outdoor spa. The ocean view is stunning, it doesn’t get hot even around midday, and enjoying a professional, comfortable massage in a private pavilion makes it an excellent experience.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
