New Body & Mind
Tucked away in the quieter Lipa Noi area of Koh Samui, New Body & Mind operates as a residential wellness retreat rather than a standard day spa. The facility specialises in fasting, detox programs, and holistic wellness, drawing guests who come specifically to reset their habits, manage weight, and address both physical and mental wellbeing. The intimate, small-scale environment means programs are tailored to individual needs, and returning guests cite this personalised approach as one of its defining qualities.
Stays here tend to run for multiple days or weeks, with guests describing extended programs of ten days or more. The experience combines structured wellness guidance, exercise sessions, and nutritional fasting in a calm, supportive atmosphere. Staff are consistently praised for being caring and genuinely invested in each guest's progress. The setting away from Koh Samui's tourist centres reinforces the retreat atmosphere, making it well suited to those who want minimal distraction during their stay.

Reviews from Google
Wonderful, restful experience! Its small size makes it a personal, intimate place, with much scope for individual preferences and needs. Easiest fasting of my life and I’ve done many! Mind goes on very slow burn, while body gets taken care of, inside and out. Exceptionally clean bungalows, not a creepy crawly in sight, unless you let in mosquitoes yourself. But do buy insect repellent for when you’re outside! The training is gentle but insistent, while losing fat I actually added much needed muscle and limbered up considerably, was in abominable shape when I arrived. Don’t expect to go home with a suntan, very little time for sunning, unless you stay for more than two weeks, which many do. More than half the guests had been there before, which is an accolade in itself. I plan to come again in 2 or 3 years, when I have saved up to spend longer. It’s actually not very expensive, but a very long trip from Northern Europe. I strongly recommend NewBody&Mind!
I have just stayed & done 19 days and loved the time I had with the amazing staff they are all absolutely beautiful people which are so caring and supportive. I didn’t just come to lose kilos. I came knowing I needed to detox my body and get my body moving after 25 years of excuses not to exercise. I now have the motivation and understanding that I can take home to continue my journey of loosing more weight and keeping myself healthy. I am 56 and I lost 7.3kg in my time here. But seeing the cm’s change on the chart was awesome to see. You meet so many people that come for all sorts of reasons and they all have different journeys. I highly recommend New Body And Mind to anyone that wants to make a change for themselves. It’s totally worth it.
This is an experience that detoxed not only my eating habits but the stress and mind games that play over and over when trying to lose weight. I am extremely pleased with my weight loss and the treatment I received. It was hard work so be prepared for that. Staff are nothing short of amazing, kind and attentive. Food, juices, massages, sauna's, floats, ice bath, pool, exercise with Da are uplifting. Laying on the beach after a hard day loosing weight and negativity relating to your body was a wonderful way to wind down.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
