Jintana Herb Sauna by the Beach
Jintana Herb Sauna sits directly on Khao Takiab Beach in Hua Hin, combining traditional Thai wellness treatments with an open coastal setting. The facility offers two herbal steam rooms, a dry sauna, and an ice bath, making it a well-rounded option for visitors seeking therapeutic benefits rather than a standard spa experience. The herbal steam rooms are a particular draw, filled with aromatic medicinal herbs and delivering a distinctly different experience from conventional saunas. Beyond the sauna and steam facilities, the venue operates more like a full day retreat. A whole-day pass includes access to lounge chairs under shaded trees, showers, and a bar serving food and drinks, allowing guests to combine wellness treatments with leisurely time by the ocean. Massage bookings are available alongside the sauna sessions for those wanting a more comprehensive visit. Good to know: A whole-day pass is available from 499 baht, offering strong value given the range of facilities included. The venue opens daily at 9:00 AM and closes at 8:00 PM. Advance booking is recommended during peak seasons, particularly for massage treatments. Check the website at jintanaherbsauna.com for current treatment options and pricing before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
Absolutely loved this place—definitely one of the best spots from my Hua Hin trip. It’s right on the beach with comfy seating under big trees, a wide ocean view, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it so easy to relax and unwind. I didn’t try the sauna this time, but the Finnish sauna setup looked really interesting—only 500 baht for a whole day and it comes with access to the ice bath and other features. Definitely something I’d come back for. I came mainly for drinks and ended up spending hours just soaking in the vibe. They’ve got a great happy hour deal—buy two, get one free for alcohol—which feels very fair considering the location. Everything felt just right—good drinks, great view, and chill energy. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place to relax and unwind. They have a sauna and 2 herbal steam baths as well as an ice bath. My favourite was the Thai herbal steam room, the aroma is refreshing and the steam is nice and hot. They have some lockers to store your things and they provide towels and a pair of shorts incase you didn't bring your bathing suit which is a nice touch. The price is very reasonable as well. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
