Tucked into Chiang Mai's Si Phum district, just a short walk from the Old City moat, Cheeva Spa offers a calm retreat from the pace of sightseeing. Treatments are conducted in individual private rooms or houses, giving the space a secluded, unhurried atmosphere. The spa specialises in multi-treatment packages that combine body scrubs, oil massages, facials, and milk baths — making it a popular choice for travellers looking for more than a single-session visit. Romantic gift packages have also proven popular among couples.
Therapist quality is a recurring theme in visitor feedback, with guests praising attentive practitioners who adjust pressure, temperature, and lighting to suit individual preferences. As with any spa, experiences can vary between therapists, so if you have a preferred treatment style — particularly for oil massage — it is worth communicating this clearly at the time of booking or before the session begins.
Cheeva Spa opens daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with consistent hours across all seven days of the week. Booking in advance through the spa's website is advisable, particularly during Chiang Mai's peak tourism season between November and February, when demand for quality wellness venues increases significantly. Arriving a few minutes early allows time to settle in and discuss any treatment preferences before your appointment begins.

Reviews from Google
I am a regular customer to this place, tried 3 different courses during my stay in June. Overall the place is quiet and clean. Courses are done in individual houses. I particularly love the scrub and oil massage. Bathroom is inside the room. The second time I went, unfortunately bumped into a group of rude tourists, probably from Tai?an, who are being very noisy and intimidating - that has ruined my mood and atmosphere. Receptionists and masseuses are generally good.
I booked the Serenity Package, with body scrub, oil massage, facial and milk bath~ the therapy Neng did a great job by taking care of every details, like the temperature, pressure, light, etc. I can say this is my very good spa experience in Chiang Mai. Would love to come again. Another plus is they give me discount by booking on their website directly☺️☺️
The place looks beautiful, and the welcome drink was nice, but the massage… not so much. For a while, I honestly couldn’t tell what the therapist was doing… it just felt like she was gently stroking my calves the whole time. Kind of like paying someone to softly stroke your calves instead of getting a real massage. 😅 The technique completely missed the mark, so it’s probably just a one-time visit for me.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
Try a Herbal Compress
Add a herbal compress (luk pra kob) to your massage — steamed bundles of lemongrass, turmeric, and camphor pressed into sore muscles. It's deeply therapeutic and uniquely Thai. Usually just 200–300 THB extra.
