Red CNX
Red CNX is a weekend nightclub and cocktail bar occupying the third floor of a building on Huay Kaew Road, drawing a mixed crowd of locals and travellers into its underground techno club atmosphere. The venue leans into electronic music, with resident and guest DJs taking the floor on Friday and Saturday nights, and the red-hued lighting setting a tone that matches the name. Visitors can expect a proper club experience rather than a casual bar setting — think DJ performances, a dancefloor crowd, and an energy that builds as the night progresses. Reviews note the music is a highlight, with DJs capable of working the room even when numbers are modest. There is a 200 baht entry fee on some nights, so it is worth budgeting for that. The atmosphere tends to be livelier later in the evening, with the crowd filling out well after 10 PM. Good to know: Red CNX operates exclusively on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 PM to 3 AM, so mid-week visitors will need to look elsewhere. Checking their Facebook or Instagram pages before heading out is a practical move, as DJ schedules and special events are promoted there and can significantly affect the atmosphere on a given night. Arriving close to or after midnight generally gives the best chance of finding the venue at its most lively.

Visitor Reviews
When I went it wasnt packed, but the DJ knew how to work the crowd and I watched the staff patiently deal with a guy that would have been smacked in the face back home. I would say go there ready to do your thing and dance and you wont he disappointed. Not sure how you would track crowds.
Underground techno club vibes. 200 baht to enter. Recommend going on weekends and visiting their Instagram page for information on DJ performances and special events.
Nice music and the lighting honors it’s name. Went very early, because I was tired from hiking, so at the time a bit quiet. Filled up nicely later in the evening.

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
