Visitor Reviews
I recently visited Sense Serene Retreat Spa and had a 90-minute aromatherapy massage—and honestly, it was just what I needed! The spa is really easy to get to, and the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean, calm, and beautifully decorated everything was. It has such a peaceful vibe that you start to relax even before the massage begins. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. My therapist was gentle but knew exactly where to work on, and the aromatherapy scents were so soothing. I felt completely relaxed and recharged afterwards. If you’re looking for a nice place to unwind and treat yourself, I totally recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back! 💖
Reserved and bought through Klook bc they have a good deal and the offer looks promising. Got the 90mins thai massage & it did not disappoint! The experience feels premium from start to finish. The massage feels great, service was top notch, very accommodating. Has pre and post massage snack. Probably one of the best massage I have ever had. Also its super near the metro station, you go out of the exit and the hotel is just right there! Highly recommend.
Had an amazing Aromatherapy massage whilst staying at the Avani. The staff were lovely and friendly. The facilities are very clean and aesthetic from the moment you step in. My therapist was amazing and helped relieve some tension in my back whilst still being gentle. The Jasmine tea and mango sticky rice at the end was a lovely treat. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Will definitely be booking another one before I check out!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
