Rossarin Eatery Huahin
Tucked inside a housing estate roughly 20 minutes from central Hua Hin, this family-style eatery operates out of a converted house and has built a loyal following among locals and visiting food seekers alike. The setting is unpretentious and relaxed, and the kitchen focuses on honest Thai cooking — dishes like kang som and stir-fried fish with cashew nut reflect traditional flavours prepared with evident care. The predominance of local diners is frequently noted by visitors as a mark of authenticity.
Guests can expect a casual, welcoming atmosphere without the polish of a tourist-oriented restaurant. The food is consistently praised for freshness and depth of flavour, and service is described as fast and attentive. The space itself — a repurposed residential home — gives the experience a personal, neighbourhood character that stands apart from more conventional dining venues in the area.

Reviews from Google
wow what a great restaurant. the food was super fresh and fantastic taste. l was the only foreigner eating here which gave me confidence this was authentic Thai food which was also confirmed by the group of Thais I was with. Service was friendly and attentive as is so common in Thailand. place is well off the beaten path but well worth the trip. parking is essily available around the restaurant. been here twice and will return again.
Everything was impressive. Every dish was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were wonderful. Overall, an excellent experience — I’ll definitely come back again if I get the chance.
First time tried. Place is interesting as they use house to convert to restaurant. Price is steep for average food. Ordered egg with crab at 850B. We also ordered stir fried fish with cashiew nut 280B but ended up looks like deep fried type. Fish is very small piece. 3 dishes cost more than 1400B. I guess I'll not return again.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
