Come for the food. That's the honest summary of this place on Soi Chalermprakiat 29, a bar and pub where the kitchen turns out seafood good enough that reviewers keep talking about it instead of the drinks. Curry shrimp is the dish people name again and again, rich and creamy by most accounts, with crab close behind. If you order nothing else, order those two.

It works best as a group venue. The mood people describe is cosy and social rather than loud and neon, and the service gets praised often enough that I'd trust it with a table of six or eight. That's a useful thing to know in Pattaya, where plenty of bars will happily take your money and forget you exist. This one sits off the busiest tourist stretches, so the crowd tends to be there on purpose rather than by accident.

Doors open at 19:00 and it runs to 03:00, seven days a week, which makes it a decent second stop as much as a first. Go early in the evening if you want the pick of the tables.
