Zaab High Pattaya Sai 3
This circular, light-filled Isaan restaurant on Pattaya's Third Road has built a strong following among both locals and international visitors for its commitment to authentic northeastern Thai cooking. Dishes are prepared with genuine regional flavours — bold, spicy, and complex — and visitors with Isaan heritage have noted the food as notably nostalgic and true to tradition. Standout items include fermented sausages prepared to a higher standard than typical street food versions, papaya fries, spring rolls, and Chinese sausage fried rice. The drinks menu also impresses, with creative options like a fresh strawberry iced soda and a coconut Americano that reflect a kitchen willing to go beyond the basics. The interior is well-decorated and welcoming rather than utilitarian, with friendly, attentive staff who are comfortable serving both Thai regulars and tourists. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and accessible, making it suitable for solo diners, couples, and groups alike. Good to know: The restaurant opens seven days a week from 11:00am to 10:00pm, so it fits comfortably into most itineraries. Spice levels are notably high here, so diners who are sensitive to heat should inform staff when ordering. The address sits within Muang Pattaya and is reachable by taxi or tuk-tuk from central hotels. Visiting during mid-afternoon can mean a quieter, more unhurried experience before the evening rush.

Thw food was amazing and my Isaan partner said that the food here was incredibly authentic and nostalgic tothe isaan cuisine. The spice levels qre definitely up there so make sure to notify the staff how spicy you'd like your meals. The menu size is vast and has a lirtle bit of everything to suit all diners. Unique plates like Som Tum Strawberry is served here too. Staff were very welcoming, informative, helpful, and attentive 👍👍👍 We will being our friends here next visit!
Incredible food and service. One of the best Thai food restaurants on my trip. From the Coconut Americano, Papaya fries and spring rolls for appetizers to the delicious Chinese sausage fried rice to the tasty cabbage with garlic and tiny shrimp served in Oyster sauce. The ambience was great--amazing service with a smile, great chill music all in a unique circular building--will be back.
The food was absolutely delicious, especially the fermented sausages - much better than the version commonly sold as street food. The service staff was attentive and friendly. The espresso machine was out of order during my visit. The interior is spotlessly clean and modern, but not very cozy.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
