Bullet Bar
A popular open-air bar located a short block from Pattaya's Beach Road, Bullet Bar draws a loyal crowd of locals and tourists with a straightforward formula: cheap cold beer, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere. The venue operates as both a sports bar and live music venue, making it a versatile stop whether you're after a relaxed afternoon drink or a livelier evening out. The bar is particularly well-regarded for its value during happy hour, with locally brewed bottled beer priced at 39 baht. A live band performs daily from around 2pm through to the early evening, giving afternoons here a festive feel that keeps the venue consistently busy. The open-air setup is kept comfortable by fans and air conditioning, and the crowd tends to be a good mix of travellers and residents. Staff receive frequent praise for being friendly and attentive even when the bar is at its busiest. Good to know: The 2pm to 7pm window is peak time, both for the live music and the cheap beer pricing, so arrive early if you want a good seat. The bar is easy to reach by tuk-tuk or baht bus from most parts of Pattaya, and the surrounding area offers plenty of additional dining and entertainment options for a longer night out. As opening hours are not formally listed, arriving in the early afternoon is a safe bet.

Visitor Reviews
High season was 39 baht bottle beer until 7pm. Live music starts at 7pm. Good mixture of people. Recommend
Very good bar fantastic banfld from 2pm till 7pm drinks 39 baht
This place can get pretty packed especially during happy hour. 39 for a beer is very reasonable. Live band in the late afternoon and evening. A nice location a block from Beach road and close to public transportation. You can take a blue truck in either direction for 10 to 20 per person and go as far as Central festival or terminal 21 malls. A good place to stop. Often full during happy hour.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
