Authentic live music bar with a classic Pattaya nightlife atmosphere. I stopped here in the evening and the band was already playing energetic covers. The stage lighting and the big Bamboo neon sign give the place a strong character, and the musicians really keep the crowd engaged. Service was quick and drinks were easy to order while sitting at the tables in front of the stage. What makes the place interesting is the social vibe. The crowd is very mixed and relaxed, and you often see confident, mature Thai ladies enjoying the music and chatting with visitors. It’s one of those spots where people come not only for the band but also for conversation and meeting new people. If you like live bands, casual nightlife and people-watching, Bamboo is definitely worth a stop while walking around the area!

Stopped by Bamboo Bar on Walking Street and honestly — it’s exactly what you expect from Pattaya nightlife. Loud music, good vibes, and a packed crowd once the night gets going. The live band was playing classic rock hits and really brought the energy. It’s not fancy or luxury, but that’s not the point. It’s more of a fun, raw party spot where you grab a beer, stand close to the stage, and just enjoy the chaos. Drinks are standard Walking Street prices. Nothing crazy, nothing special — just solid and quick service. The place fills up late, so it’s better after 10:30–11 PM when the atmosphere really kicks in. If you’re looking for quiet cocktails and deep conversations, this isn’t it. If you want loud music, a lively crowd, and that real Pattaya party feeling — Bamboo Bar delivers.

Great location for older Western men to meet younger Thai women. A beer costs 110-120 baht. There's a good live band playing mostly 80s music. The women are free and not affiliated with the club, so no hassle with bar fines, etc.
